Nancy A. Houdek, 76, of Largo, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at her residence. Born in Evanston, IL, she moved to Largo in 1967 from Chicago, IL where she worked for the U.S. Foreign Service. She retired in Florida working for the Pinellas County Sheriff offices in Largo. A member of St. Jerome Catholic Church she volunteered at both Hospice of the Florida Suncoast and the Florida Blood Services. She is survived by a twin sister, Betty Hillgamyer, Chicago, IL; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass was held Thursday, August 19, 2004 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Largo. Interment followed at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Nancy’s name to the “Three Day March for Breast Cancer”.
