Barbara Faye Hunt, 74, teacher, musician, retired X-ray Technician, passed away August 17, 2004. Cherished daughter of the late Shirley Brichta; beloved wife of the late Richard D. Hunt; loving mother of Sandra and Richard D. (Elizabeth) Hunt of Chicago and Andrew (Veronica) Hunt of Lake Bluff; proud grandmother of Olivia, Abby, Ethan, Zoe and Julianna; dearest sister of Charles (Nancy) Brichta of Texas, Walter (Jane) Waschick of Missouri and Karen Boyd of Kentucky; caring cousin of Gary (Judy) Martine and Judy (David) Martin of Wisconsin. Barbara earned her BS in 1973 and her MA in 1981 from DePaul University and played 2nd viola in the DePaul Alumni Orchestra. A gatehring of family and friends will be held Friday, August 27, from 5 to 9 p.m., at Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center, 6471 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago, 773-774-3333.
