The Roselle Village Board has approved an agreement with DuPage County to make stream bank improvements on Springbrook Creek at the northeast corner of West Walnut Court and South Roselle Road.
The agreement calls for the village and the county to share design, permit and construction costs. The project will involve stream bank stabilization and excavation to provide additional detention capacity at the site.
Village engineer Michael Higgins said the project is a first-phase improvement related to a much larger stream bank project planned throughout the Walnut Oaks and Villas on the Pond developments.
