Bruce Anderson Young, of Cedar Key, FL, died Saturday evening at home. He was 87 years old. Mr. Young was born in Chicago and has resided in Cedar Key for the last 15 years. Mr. Young retired as Managing Editor of University Chicago Press and served his country as a Naval Officer in WWII. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Cedar Key. He is survived by his wife, Susanmary Young of Cedar Key; and his nephew and niece, Ken and Anne Young of Traverse City, MI. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2004 at St. James Episcopal Cathedral in Chicago. Local services will be held at a later date at Christ Episcopal Church in Cedar Key.
