– The redesigned Saturn Vue sport-utility vehicle has passed National Highway Traffic Safety Administration rollover test with a score similar to that of other SUVs. General Motors redesigned the rear suspension after a wheel collapsed in two rollover tests. The newer version received three stars out of five.

– General Motors is reducing production of the Hummer H2 by 1,000 vehicles after the model’s sales fell 26 percent in the first seven months of the year, according to a company spokesman. Demand for the H2 is running at about 25,000, and capacity is about 40,000.
