Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Kudos to your editorial writer who was kind enough to show appreciation for all that his kids’ coach does for them, but pleads for dismissing them on time.

I am asking this talented editor to take up some other exasperating causes:

– When our doctor gives us a specific appointment time like 11:20 a.m., we spend money on a taxi to be sure we arrive on time. Then we sit in his office for a half-hour.

– The repairman says he will be here between 8 and 11 a.m. Now it’s noon. Where is he?

– The pharmacist tell us we can pick up our prescription at noon. When we get there, he says, “We’ll start on it right now.”

Time is a fleeting thing. But its parameters affect our entire life. I agree with your editor that it is time to teach the need for punctuality.
