Paul S. “Bill” Jessup, 95, of McHenry and Crystal Lake, loving husband for 68 years to Gertrude; beloved father to Paul (Johanna) of St. Paul, MN, and Robert (Julia) of McHenry; grandfather to Robert (Heidi) Jessup, Lisa (Michael) Akerson, Scott (Nisha) Jessup, Christine Jessup and Paul Jessup; great-grandfather to three. He founded Jessup Manufacturing in 1956 in McHenry, member of Shepherd of the Hills Church, active in community activities and volunteered at church, schools and for the Boy Scouts, was one of the founders of The First National Bank of McHenry and served on their board along with the board of the former McHenry Hospital now known as Northern Illinois Medical Center. Memorial service in celebration fo his life will be held Saturday, September 11, 2004, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 404 N. Green St., McHenry, at 1 p.m. Private interment.
