Cornelius A. Johnson, 83, a retired metallurgical engineer, of Chicago and Glen Lake, MI, died Sunday, August 29, 2004, in Wheaton, IL, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include his wife, Nancy; his children, Sara (Charles) Ofenloch, Margaret (Timothy) Leahy, Katherine (John) Collins, George (Gail) Johnson, Patricia McTigue and Mary Nina Hanselmann; 19 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Dutmers. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann Johnson; and his brother, James. Services have been held. Memorials may be directed to the Glen Lake Preservation Fund, P.O.
