Between your fawning editorial(“Bush: Optimism and ownership,” Sept. 3) and the larger-than-life front page picture after the Republican National Convention, at least you can save yourselves the trouble of writing an endorsement in October. Everyone knows that the Tribune is a Republican paper, but really, this was way over the top.
