With all of the aviation industry carnage, the questions that beg to be asked by the media and answered by our elected officials include:
– With all of the turmoil, is it logical that we should be spending what will be a huge amount of taxpayer money to expand all these airports in a market that has too much capacity already?
– Shouldn’t we be investing this money more wisely, into more sustainable forms of transportation, such as high-speed rail, and letting the marketplace decide?
