– The 2005 Buick LaCrosse sedan, which replaces the Regal and Century, has a base price of $23,835 for the CX model. The CXL starts at $25,335 and the CXS $28,335. The prices do not include the $660 destination charge. The CX and CXL come with a 3.8-liter, 200-horsepower V-6, and the CXS has a new 3.6-liter, 240-h.p. V-6.
– General Motors’ 2005 “crossover sport vans” (minivans with SUV styling cues) start at $23,635 for the base Chevrolet Uplander. Base prices on other versions are $23,770 for the Saturn Relay, $24,520 for the Pontiac Montana SV6 and $28,110 for the Buick Terraza. The prices are for front-wheel-drive models and do not include the $715 destination charge. All-wheel-drive is optional.
– Nissan says that, in addition to a new-generation compact Sentra coming out in the summer of 2006, it intends to introduce at least one new vehicle smaller than Sentra in 2007. Examples of this type of vehicle include the Nissan Cube (sold in Japan) and Nissan March/Micra (sold in Japan and Europe).
