Frieda A. Devine-Casey, 86, of De Kalb, IL, passed away Friday, September 17, 2004, at Pine Acres Care Center in De Kalb. She was born on May 30, 1918, in Livingston, IL,the daughter of John and Emma (Hoffman) Schranz. Her first marriage was to William Collins, she later married Dan Devine on July 29, 1945, in Chicago, IL, and her third marriage was to John Casey on June of 1984, in Sycamore, IL. Frieda was employed by Ma Bell, aka Illinois Bell for 35 years. She enjoyed gardening, reading and especially sewing for her great-granchildren. She is survived by her husband, John of Cortland; her daughter Pat (Chuck) Boehning of De Kalb; her son Michael (Eileen) Devine of Radcliffe, KY; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; she is preceded in death by her first husband, William; her second husband, Dan; two sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, September 21, 2004, at the Anderson Funeral Home in De Kalb. Burial will follow services at the All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, IL. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 20, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Anderson Funeral Home in De Kalb. A memorial is being established for Frieda A.
