Marjorie H. Gilbert, at rest August 28, 2004. Born July 24, 1917 in Evanston, IL, a resident of Morton Grove since 1953. Beloved wife of the late George E. Hart and Frederick M. Gilbert; loving mother of Jim (Mary) Hart of Naples, FL; devoted grandmother of three; and greatgrandmother of three; dear sister of Gerrie (Donald) Scott of Glenview, IL; aunt of two nieces and 1 nephew; great-aunt of 10. Preceded in death by her parents Rose Heppner Karsten Carlson and Herman Karsten. A memorial service will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 23, 11 a.m. at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1136 Wesley Ave., Evanston, IL 60202. Donations in her memory may be made to St. John’s UCC.
