Gerald G. Richter, 97, native of Nixa, MO, retired locomotive designer for GM, photographer, inventor, prodigious writer and renaissance man, passed away Sept. 20, 2004 in Chicago, beloved husband of the late Ruth, nee Stansbury; cherished father of Gail (George Carracio) Richter; fond uncle of Eloise (Clyde) Flood of Springfield, MO. Memorial Service Saturday, Sept. 25, 1 p.m. at The Admiral, 909 W. Foster, Chicago, in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, 847-933-2413.
