Sidney B. Rotman, age 60, of Riverwoods, for 27 years, President and owner of Municipal Tire and Wheel Co., Chicago, along with his son Michael and lifelong friend and trusted partner Bob Lucchesi; beloved husband and best friend for 38 years of Genie; loving father of Michael (Susie), Molly (Reza Ghorbani), Matthew and Marc; adored “Big Grandpa” of Brandon and Ashton; devoted son of the late Morris and Anna; cherished brother of Bern (Lanie), Shelly (Mitch) Kohn and the late Jack (the late Ruth); dear brother-in-law of Sam (Barbara Valerio) Ziedman, Lois (the late Hal) Hoffing and Ken (Ellie) Ziedman; treasured uncle, cousin and friend to many. Sid loved the arts and was a jazz enthusiast as well as an amateur sketch artist and painter. Memorial service Thursday, 2 p.m., at The Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., (1 blk N. of Lake Cook Rd.).
