I recently heard our national anthem sung the way it was supposed to be sung. A strong voice, every word understood and a crowd of fans who really appreciated it.

I got into the habit of muting my set whenever a celebrity introduced his or her own version of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” The sports teams of Chicago should insist that whoever sings does it right.
