– Michelin has developed a PAX System run-flat tire that can run up to 125 miles at 55 m.p.h. before needing changing, unlike most run-flat tires now on the market that can run about 50 miles at 55 m.p.h. before they must be changed. The PAX System run-flat tires are being offered on the 2005 Honda Odyssey minivan.
– Mitsubishi is rolling out a pre-owned certification program on the purchase of used Mitsubishi vehicles. The program will offer consumers the same 10-year/100,000 limited powertrain warranty on pre-owned vehicles bought at Mitsubishi dealerships that’s available on new vehicles. The offer, which includes a 123 point inspection, is available on 2001 and newer models with fewer than 60,000 miles.
