Minnesota point guard Adam Boone, the Golden Gophers’ leading returning scorer, could miss the basketball season after having surgery in Minneapolis to repair a torn biceps tendon in his right arm. Boone, a fifth-year senior who averaged 8.4 points last season, is expected to miss at least three months after being injured twice in preseason workouts.
