I have contacted several medical sources to obtain a flu shot and all have told me there is none due to the problem in England (“FDA cautious on flu vaccine; As supply tightens, agency `pessimistic’ on British source,” News, Oct. 9).
My 87-year-old mother is not able to obtain a flu shot.
This is totally unacceptable!
Why are we relying on foreign countries to produce our flu vaccines when we are very capable of doing so here?
