I have read with some amusement and some sadness various scathing and, dare I say, “foaming at the mouth” editorials and letters to the editor concerning the presidential candidates. I don’t think either one eats live babies or is the scourge of the new millennium.
An acquaintance of mine once said, during a courteous and reasoned discussion of our widely disparate religious convictions and political opinions: “Reasonable people can disagree.”
I guess we’re the only two who can!
