Please excuse me if I don’t mourn Yasser Arafat’s death. Quite the contrary, I cheer, just as I would upon learning of the death of Adolf Hitler or Osama bin Laden.
As for Arafat, he was equal parts terrorist, brute, coward, thief and fraud. I hope that his death will spur peace, though it will be difficult given that he has polluted generations of his people with hate, all the while looting them.
Good riddance, I say.
