I was overjoyed to see former President Bill Clinton call for unity in his opening remarks at the ceremonies dedicating his presidential library.

According to news accounts, Clinton called for unity in a country still smarting from an extremely divisive election.

He went on to say, “It bothers me when America gets as divided as it was.

Am I the only person in the United States who likes both George Bush and John Kerry?”

I applauded Clinton for saying publicly what so many people are thinking privately.

It’s time to unite and get this country back on the right track.

Let’s all follow Clinton’s advice and the mandate that the electorate gave us during the election:

Let’s all support George W. Bush.

After all these years, I have finally found something I agree with Bill Clinton on. It’s about time!
