Sarah Pillon hit 2 3s to spark 9-1 3rd-quarter run as No. 6 Marian Catholic beat No. 18 Hersey 70-56 in title game to repeat as tournament champs. Keisha Collins led Spartans (6-1) with 19 pts., tourney co-MVP Schuyler Johnson scored 15 and Pillon and Brea Banks score 10 each. “I’m really proud, not just with the tournament championship, but at the same time, I’m proud of our execution,” Marian Catholic coach Shannon Reidy said. “That’s been our big question mark the past two games.” Shana Lieberman scored 18 for Hersey (5-2), and tourney co-MVP Emilie Hirt had 8. Marian Catholic starters Ashley Hluska and Casey Taylor both sat out with minor injuries. . . .
