If you think back, “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” ended with a cute reversal of logic: Everyone was fired from WJM-TV News except the guy who was truly, undeniably incompetent–anchorman Ted Baxter. I get the feeling the same pattern is at work with the Bush Cabinet: Get rid of everybody except Donald Rumsfeld.
