I am happy to thank and praise Tribune staff reporter Wendy Donahue for her excellent article “Fur? Sure! Faux fur, that is. It’s one white-hot trend” (Q, Dec. 12).
As an animal lover who does not believe people should wear real fur, I was thrilled to see that faux fur is a fashion trend for this holiday season.
Thank you for pointing out that the quality and texture of these fake-fur fashions has improved so that they look and feel “real” without being the result of animal cruelty and suffering.
