Triple jump Olympic champion Christian Olsson will miss the entire indoor season, including the European championships in March, because of an ankle injury. The Swede has had a problem with his right ankle since the Olympic final in August, and X-rays showed fluid around the ankle joint. He is the only triple jumper to hold Olympic, world outdoor, world indoor, European and European indoor titles simultaneously.
