This is regarding “EPA charges DuPont hid Teflon’s risks; U.S. orders study on health perils of key chemical” (Page 1, Jan. 18). So Teflon is dangerous? I guess this is a secret that is kept only by companion bird owners and breeders.
I have five companion birds ranging from a canary to a Macaw. When I went to my local bird breeder for each one I was told, “No Teflon, it will kill your birds!”
We remain a no-Teflon household.
It always amazes me that what is general knowledge to many is a surprise, front-page headline to the rest.
