On this the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, It saddens me that we have apparently already forgotten the lessons learned. Good men continue to turn their heads and allow the same atrocities to occur in Africa without the faintest sign of resistance.
Are we doomed to hear these words spoken in ceremonies 60 years from now: “Why did they let this happen . . . again?”
