Chicago’s Jen Schefft had high hopes going into “The Bachelorette,” since those who went before her–Trista and Meredith–had luck finding their dream guys on the show.
Well, one out of two will have to do.
Meredith Phillips and Ian McKee, who met and got engaged last winter on the show, have called it quits. “Our relationship began with great expectations for a happy ending, but unfortunately things didn’t work out as we had hoped,” the couple said in a statement to “Extra.” The couple’s split is described as mutual. They are asking the media and fans to allow them to “move forward with their lives.”
