Kanye West may have hit it big with “College Dropout,” but his newest endeavor is to fight rising school dropout rates.
The Chicago rapper and producer will host a reception Feb. 10 to launch the Kanye West Foundation, which aims to keep kids in school by adding more music programs. Its first initiative, called “Loop Dreams,” will give at-risk students the chance to write and produce music.
