Chicago police are asking for help in finding a missing 3-year-old girl who allegedly was taken by her aunt earlier this week from the Southeast Side.
Lucille Walker, 47, was supposed to have gone shopping Tuesday morning with her niece, but Walker and the girl did not return and were last seen in the 5700 block of South Michigan Avenue, police spokesman John Mirabelli said Thursday.
The girl was last seen wearing a pink coat, red and gray shirt with a hood, gray jogging pants and black and white boots, police said.
The girl was reported missing by her mother Wednesday morning; no Amber Alert has been issued because police believe she is in the state, Mirabelli said.
