Robert T. Hay, 84, 36 year resident of Wilmette and Evanston, retired Senior Science Textbook Editor at Harper Collins, MacMillan Co. and Laidlaw Co., WWII U.S. Army Air Corps, passed away peacefully at his home Feb. 20 after a long illness, husband of 53 years to Jean S. Hay; proud father of Susan Mary (Donald) Costa of Seattle and the late Robert Alwin Hay; loving grandfather of Christopher Robert and Jonathan Edward Costa; dear twin brother of Roberta (Robert) Jolly. A Memorial Service for Robert T. Hay and Robert Alwin Hay is being held Friday, Feb. 25, 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 1427 Chicago Ave., Evanston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression (NARSAD), 60 Cutter Mill Rd., Ste. 404, Great Neck, NY 11021, 800-829-9289.
