Robert E. Bonner, suddenly on Feb. 10, 2005. Husband of the late June Nelson Bonner; brother of the late William of Atlanta, GA and Jim of Chicago, IL. He attended Campion Jesuit High School, and later graduated from Marquette University. Mr. Bonner served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater during WWII from 1943-1946, and took part in the liberation of the Philippines. Born in 1924 in Chicago, he moved to Montclair, NJ in 1973. Mr. Bonner was also heavily involved in AA, sponsoring numerous members over a 40-year period. He is survived by nieces and nephews in Ridgewood, NJ, Manhattan, Chicago, and Atlanta, GA. A Mass will be offered in his memory at Immaculate Conception Parish, 1431 N. North Park, Chicago 9:30 a.m., Feb. 28. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Evanston.
