Robert G. Marcus, of Tinley Park, formerly of Roseland, passed away Feb. 21. Army Veteran WWII, 9th Armored Division. Beloved husband of Angeline, nee Kulig for 56 wonderful years; dear father of Bob (Nancy) of Florida, Mary Ann Block of Tinley Park and the late Philip Marcus; dear brother of Lorraine Marcus; proud grandfather of Michelle (Adam) Brzyski, Robert (Karen) Marcus, Philip, Denis and Elizabeth Block; great-grandfather of Adam, Jacob and Grace Brzyski. Retired 40 year employee of Peoples Gas Company. Cavalryman, Communications Officer during the Battle of the Bulge. Member of VFW, American Legion #336 and Kosciuszko Post #30 PLAV.
