A decomposed skeleton was found Sunday evening in an abandoned building on Chicago’s South Side.
The skeleton, which appeared to be human, was found at 655 E. 37th Pl., police said.
Two children who were playing in the abandoned building found the remains, they said.
The case is being handled as a death investigation by the Cook County medical examiner, police spokeswoman Patrice Harper said.
