Jose “Joe” C. Montemayor, age 55, of Huntley, died Thursday, April 7, 2005 at his home. Beloved husband of Linda, nee Beaman; loving father of Joseph William (Marcela) Montemayor of Marengo, Gina Maria (John) Seaton of Algonquin and Anna Marie Montemayor of Huntley; cherished grandfather of five; fond son of Rosa (the late Jose C.) of Texas; dear brother of Lionel (Susan) Montemayor of Elk Grove; Blanca Cavazos of Palatine, Norma (James) Watson of Mt. Prospect, Rosemary (Terry) Taylor of Mt. Prospect, Sandra (John) Walker of Elk Grove and Amanda (Grant) Landrum of Texas. He was preceded in death by his father. The visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, 2005, 3 to 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry, where prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at the funeral home proceeding to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley, IL for a 10:30 a.m. Mass.
