Talk about a bad break.
Russell Crowe’s ex-bandmates say they learned about the demise of their band, 30 Odd Foot of Grunts, in the papers.
“He didn’t tell us he was going to do it,” Grunts bassist Garth Adam told the Sunday Telegraph of Sydney. “You’d think after 12 years, he would [let us know personally], but no. I read about it in the newspapers.”
But Adam said this wasn’t the first time Crowe has flaked out on updating his mates. “That seems to be his way of communicating. Once, he canceled a tour, and I heard about it on the radio. It’s very disappointing.”
They are the Grunts, after all.
