Marcia Smithson, age 83, of Downers Grove, IL on April 16, 2005, beloved wife to the late Bill Andrews and the late James Smithson; loving mother of William (Liz) Andrews, Polly (James) Walwark and stepdaughter Joy (Jaap) Arriens, beloved sister to Mary Ellen (the late Thomas) Wildman and the late Dorthy Wilson; cherished grandmother of four stepgrandchildren and aunt to several nieces and nephews. She was a long time member of the 1st Congregational Church of Downers Grove, a long time librarian in the Junior Room of Downers Grove Public Library and a graduate of Beloit College.
