– Active Tuning is holding a Third Generation Nissan Altima meet May 14. The free meet, open to Altimas from 2002 and newer, will be held in Grove 27 at Busse Woods off Arlington Heights Road, Schaumburg. It starts at noon, and 29 Altimas have signed up. – Stallion’s Gate Mustang & Ford Club is hosting a car show June 12 at Arlington Heights Ford, 801 Dundee Rd. Three trophies will be presented in each of the 25-30 classes. – The National Railroad Museum will host its annual Day Out with Thomas June 15-19 in Green Bay, Wis. The event will include a 25-minute ride with Thomas the Tank Engine. – The Illinois Railway Museum holds its annual Chicago Day June 18. Visitors will be able to ride a big red street car to mark the end of their operation in Chicago in 1958.
