– Joel Daly gave his final WLS-Ch. 7 newscast Friday, capping a 38-year career in Chicago broadcasting. Daly, who has anchored the 4 p.m. news broadcast with Linda Yu since 1984, will return to Channel 7 to offer legal commentary.

– Thanks to Napster, runaway bride Jennifer Wilbanks now has an MP3 playlist in her honor–called “Cold Feet.” The list, which was scheduled to go live Friday morning, includes “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover” (Paul Simon), “Runaway” (Bon Jovi), “Go Your Own Way” (Fleetwood Mac), “Separate Ways” (Journey), “She’s Gone” (Hall and Oates), “Will Never Marry” (Morrissey), and “Bye, Bye, Bye” (‘NSYNC).

– Foxy Brown’s not taking the rap. Brown, 25, accused of beating up two nail salon workers, has rejected a plea deal on Friday in Manhattan Criminal Court that would have kept her out of jail and would have involved no probation or conditions. Brown faces misdemeanor charges of assault, attempted assault and harassment in an Aug. 29 dispute at the Bloomie Nails salon in Chelsea. Her lawyer said Brown wasn’t interested in any resolution that involved her admitting to a crime.

– Vincent Pastore, an actor who played a thug on television, is not much of a gentleman in real life either, according to prosecutors. Pastore, 58, who portrayed Big Pussy on HBO’s “The Sopranos,” appeared in Manhattan Criminal Court on Thursday, a few weeks after being charged with roughing up his fiance during an afternoon spat in Little Italy. “I don’t know anything about this guy, but I can safely say he’s a hit man,” the fiance’s lawyer said. “That is, he hit her good.” Pastore denies the charges.
