A 2-year-old was found drowned in a pool at his family’s Oak Forest home in the 4400 block of Mann Street on Thursday, a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.
Abel Ramirez was pronounced dead at 8:50 a.m. in University of Chicago Hospitals. The spokesman said an autopsy had not yet been conducted as of late Thursday.
Calls to Oak Forest police were not immediately returned.
