Mildred Weisman, passed away on May 29, 2005, she was 92 years young. Millie lived life to the fullest and always said “age is just a number”. She leaves behind her loving daughter, Adrienne Gayler and son-in-law, Brent of Scottsdale, AZ; her brother, Robert Paul of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Perry, Kevin and Brett Stern; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Asher and Sophia Stern; a special aunt to Roselle Maremont, Lorraine Baim, Lois and Phillip Lapine; a great-aunt to Kimberly Pendo, Michael Baim, Julie Lock and Amy Wineburgh. She was a wonderful friend to many people in the downtown area who will all remember her cakes and cookies. She was a cover girl for Healthy Transitions Magazine in 1997 at 85. A Memorial Service will be held for “Millie” at the Drake Hotel, Parkside Room, July 12, 3-5 p.m.
