– The Illinois Railway Museum hosts its 15th annual Vintage Transport Extravaganza Aug. 7. More than 500 antique autos, trucks, fire engines, tractors, motorcycles and buses and 400 pieces of rail equipment will be on display at the museum in Union. The museum is open from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and children 5-11 and free for children younger than 5 accompanied by a paid adult. – Calumet City Chamber of Commerce will present a Classic Car Show Aug. 7 at the River Oaks Shopping Center, 159th and Torrence Avenue.
