Kudos to Chicago Tribune staff reporter Patrick T. Reardon and the Tribune in general for coverage of the Harry Potter phenomenon (“`Potter’ and company; For fans of the wizard, communal reading is a magical experience,” Tempo, July 18).
It’s great to see kids, in this day and age, getting excited over books.
Dare I say that perhaps recreational reading isn’t obsolete, after all?
