In Chris Courtney’s “Audio Doc” piece (Aug. 12) on songs used in TV commercials, he lists the song “Take A Load Off Annie” by the Marshall Tucker Band as being used in a Cingular ad. There is no such song by Marshall Tucker or anyone else. The song to which he’s referring is called “The Weight” and it’s by The Band. “The Weight” is a well-known song, having been used in the film “Easy Rider” in 1969, and The Band is a renowned act, having been the subject of the immensely popular documentary film “The Last Waltz.”
