It seems that three’s a crowd according to the Motion Picture Association of America. Especially when the crowd is having group sex.
Kevin Bacon, Colin Firth and Rachel Blanchard have an on-screen threesome in the new Atom Egoyan film “Where the Truth Lies,” which has been slapped with an NC-17 rating. Egoyan, producers and some cast members appealed the decision, CNN reports, but had no success.
ThinkFilm can go ahead and release the film with the NC-17 rating, or release it uncut and unrated. Either way, many theaters won’t book it once it’s labeled an “adult” film.
