John D. Perry, age 21, of Beecher, IL, formerly of Steger, IL, passed away on September 22, 2005. John is survived by his parents Janet and Tom Pasek; his father Brian Perry; his brother Nicholas Pasek; his sister Amy Perry; also survived by his maternal grandparents Diane and Don Riley, Marilyn “Granny Duck” Perry and Clifford and Jane Perry; his great-grandmothers Dorothy Dixon, Jean Stone and Herta Pasek; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive him. Visitation for John will be held Monday, September 26 from 2 till 9 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday evening. Interment is private. John was a wrestling coach at Bloom Trail High School for the youth wrestling team, a Cadet Fireman for the Crete Township Fire Dept. and a Maintenance worker at Village Woods Retirement Center in Crete, IL. 708-755-6100.
