Houston rapper Paul Wall’s “The People’s Champ” topped Kanye West’s “Late Registration” on the Billboard Top 200 chart last week, with first-week sales of 176,800 units in the U.S. alone, according to Nielsen Soundscan. The West album, which spent two weeks at No. 1, sold 165,000 units.
