An English professor and the embalmed body of his mother that he kept at home in a glass casket for 21 years were laid to rest in twin burials in a southern Indian village, a relative said Tuesday. Syed Noor’s uncle, Syed Abdul Ghafoor, had a last wish–that his mother’s body be buried only after his death. The fact that the body was kept in Ghafoor’s home wasn’t a secret, and neighbors and relatives complained often.
