Charles E. Mueller, age 84, 54 year resident of Morton Grove, died peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, born March 14, 1921 at home in Chicago, IL to Christian J. and Antoinette M., nee Veverka. Chuck was a Tool and Die Maker, Designer and Cofounder of Electro Metal Products. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Adele V., nee Becvar, of 61 years; dear father of Charlene (Thomas) Berube, Robert (Vickie), Gayle (James) Slack, Cynthia (David) Inglis, James (the late Deb) and Charles; loving grandfather of Stephen (Deanna) Berube, Jessica (Sean) Kirby, Lacey Mueller, Teresa Mueller, Robert (Jane) Slack, Karen (James) Merkelz, Christa Inglis, Brian Inglis and Matthew Mueller; great-grandfather of Kevin Bennett-Berube, Aidan and Avalon Kirby, Natalie and Rachel Slack, and Amy and Sara Merkelz; brother of the late Gladys (the late Robert) Proctor, William (Rose) Mueller and Gertrude (the late Angelo) Ragona. He was a generous and giving man who had an incredible memory and loving wit. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, Oct. 7 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Simkins Funeral Home, 6251 Dempster St., Morton Grove. Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5201 Galitz St., Skokie, IL 60077 on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 11 a.m. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.
